SUBMISSIONS TO MSA'S "THE MUSLIM VOICE":
Friday, October 04, 2002:
We'd like to encourage our membership to submit articles to
the MSA's "The Muslim Voice". One of the sub-themes of this
issue is Unity, a topic no doubt many of you can make a
positive contribution. But please do not limit yourself and
also write about Ramadan and social issues. The following is
a message by the editor:
"Alhamdulillah,
after a lot of hard work the first issue of The Muslim Voice
is out! You can find it at ISC, Robart's, Hart House,
Gerstein and Sid Smith. Look out for it! Let us know what
you think, we welcome all suggestions, criticisms, and of
course compliments! :)
We have
very recently decided to change the format of the upcoming
TMV issue and make it a 'mega-issue' that will be released
in November. Thus we are looking for articles on both
social issues in the Muslim Community (unity, poverty,
homelessness) and also Ramadan related articles. General
articles, poetry, and stories unrelated to the theme are
also welcome. The deadline for submissions has been extended
to October 7, 2002.
Please email all submissions to The Muslim voice at
muslimvoice@yahoo.ca or submit a paper copy to the
Submissions Envelope at the ISC or at the TMV office which
is located at 21 Sussex Ave. Suite #405."
Jazak Allah Khair,
Noor Aliya Javed
