This email group is for students in Colleges or Universities, as well as senior high school students, in Canada and the United States, who seek to learn about Islam through the Qur'an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and his Ahlul-Bayt (members of Prophet Muhammad's household).

Through this E-Group, members are kept up-to-date with TMA's activities and events as well as those activities/events we feel would be of interest to students living in the G.T.A. and throughout all of North America.

Disclaimer: To begin, we are sure that most of E-Group members would acknowledge the fact that the lower the volume of emails, the better. We want that which is most convenient for you. Thus, we intend to send no more than three emails a week. The announcements sent are categorized into two groups: Those sent from the "Thaqalayn Message Compiler" and those sent from "Thaqalayn Muslim Association".

The event announcements sent by the "Thaqalayn Message Compiler" are not necessarily endorsed by the Thaqalayn Muslim Association in any way, shape or form. We receive many emails every week. We include those events in the newsletter that we feel would be of interest to students living in the Greater Toronto Area and throughout all of North America. This does not mean that TMA endorses them. We merely post them because we think it's important for students, particularly Muslims, in college, university and high school to know what is going on.

Furthermore, TMA is not in the business of endorsing anyone, be it a government official, a Muslim scholar, or even any particular Marja'. Our Marja' Taqleed Policy is clear: To respect them all, both the living and the deceased.

Announcements endorsed by Thaqalayn Muslim Association are distinguished in that they are sent from the TMA account (tma@thaqalayn.org). Bear in mind that TMA has affiliates at multiple campuses/universities and thus each chapter of TMA is accountable for their respective events.
